Q: When can I apply?

A: We have two intakes of FilmFLEX - one in May, another in November each year. We begin accepting applications for the following FilmFLEX intake one week after the previous course begins. If you are applying for the May intake of FilmFLEX, we would begin accepting applications for the following May class one week after the current May class begins.

Click on the Microsoft Word  APPLICATION FORM link, or the PDF APPLICATION FORM (Requires Adobe Acrobat),
print it out and send it to us at the address below,
along with the following additional pieces of
information:

1) 500 word essay

The purpose of this essay is to determine what you've
done so far in your career, what you want to achieve
and the steps you've taken up to now to achieve these
goals. If you're still uncertain of your final career
path, don't be afraid to say so, but tell us where you
"think" you're headed, and what you've done so far to
get there.

2) Resume

What kind of work have you done to date in your
career? What kind of hobbies do you have? These
don't have to be film or television related.

3) Minimum 2 Letters of recommendation.

These letters of recommendation don't have to be
from someone in the film or television business.
Give us letters of recommendation from your
teachers, your hockey coach, your current or
previous employer. We feel that if you are a good
employee, no matter what the job, you will make a
good applicant.

4) Transcripts of grades

We require proof of Grade 12 English, unless you are
applying as an adult learner, or as an ESL student.

Address to send application:

Registration Do's
and Don'ts

The program requires Transcripts.
Ensure your transcripts come
directly from the appropriate
educational institution - we will not
accept photocopies.

English 12 is required for the
Program, unless you are applying
as an adult learner, or an ESL
student. If you have graduated
from a college, institute or
university in Canada or the USA,
we assume that you have
completed Grade 12 English. If you
were educated in another country
or high-school, we will need valid
proof of the English requirement.

SEND YOUR APPLICATION TO
THE FilmFLEX Coordinator
directly, not to the Registrar's
Office.
